Laura implements and manages the firm’s systems to meld both quantitative and qualitative information essential to helping clients achieve their financial goals.

For a decade prior to forming King Financial Partners, Laura worked in a financial service consulting practice as a client advocate, managing underwriting negotiations and targeted execution of solutions. Since 2002, she has also managed and developed a significant and profitable real estate portfolio, including properties in both State College and Pittsburgh. Laura holds Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Laura received her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Stemming from both a personal and family background of hearing loss, Laura’s list of unique talents includes being fluent in American Sign Language, and a lifelong interest in electronics has led her to fluency in Morse code as well. Living here since 1994, she is proud to call State College home with her husband, Tom, and their four grown children.
